The innovation award winning Hungarian firm and one of the biggest construction companies of Viet Nam signed the document on 19 May 2017 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary in Budapest. The agreement focuses on joint projects to be implemented in the water industry.
“Hungary supports Israel and is working to combat prejudice against Israel in the United Nations and the European Union”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó declared in an statement published on Sunday in the English edition of The Jerusalem Post.
Following Vojvodina and Subcarpathia, the Hungarian Government is also extending its economic development programmes aimed at strengthening Hungarian communities to Transylvania. The launching of the first model programme with a budget of one billion forints (EUR 3.2M) was announced in Marosávásárhely (Târgu Mureș) on Friday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Minister of State for Economic Diplomacy, Levente Magyar.
“There can be no doubt that Europe is facing major historic challenges, and these challenges have made certain countries and institutions lose their common sense”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó told Hungarian news agency MTI in a telephone statement from Cyprus, where he is attending a session of the Council of Europe’s Ministerial Committee.
On 18 May 2017, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Deputy State Secretary for European and American Relations Kristóf Altusz held talks with his counterpart at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy State Secretary for European Affairs and Bilateral Relations Zrinka Ujević, and with Assistant Minister Gordan Bakota.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó will also be discussing details concerning Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Budapest in July with the Israeli Prime Minister in Jerusalem on Thursday, it transpires from the Minister’s statement to Hungarian news agency MTI.
To mark the Year of Saint Ladislaus (László), Minister of State Lstván Mikola launched the “Foundation of our Past, Pillar of our Future, and Christian Values in the Regal Practice of Saint Ladislaus” conference, which was held on 17 May 2017 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. In view of the fact that Dr. István Mikola is away on official business, the conference was opened by Minister of State István Íjgyártó.
After holding talks in New York with the United Nations’ two Deputy Secretary-Generals, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó gave a speech at the organisation’s conference on innovation and digital development.
“The Hungarian Government fully supports the German-Italian proposal on the establishment of an EU border protection mission to serve in Libya”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó told Hungarian news agency MTI in Wednesday.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó will be holding negotiations at the United Nations on Wednesday, where he will also be making a speech at the organisation’s high-level meeting on innovation and digital development.
