“Five aeroplanes and five heavy goods vehicles will be bringing healthcare protective equipment to Hungary on Wednesday”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced on his Facebook page following Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting.
“The barrier-free nature of the international carriage of goods must be maintained, and commuters must continue to be provided with the opportunity to cross borders in the interests of work or the cultivation of farmland”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a video posted to his Facebook page following a videoconference with his Austrian, Czech and Slovakian counterparts on Wednesday.
In a video posted to his Facebook page on Wednesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade asked President of Romania Klaus Iohannis to show Hungary more respect to the Hungarians. Mr. Szijjártó was reacting to Wednesday’s television speech by the Romanian President.
“The friendly relations we maintain with Bavaria play an extremely important part in almost all areas of life in Hungary, particularly during the current coronavirus pandemic”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a video posted to his Facebook page on Wednesday.
“Swiss-based company Flisom has chosen Kecskemét as the location of its first investment in Hungary, and will be establishing a solar panel production plant in the Great Plain city with an investment of 12.5 billion forints (EUR 35 million)”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced at a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.
Hungary has forwarded a donation of protective kit from China to North Macedonia in connection with efforts to combat novel coronavirus.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó accompanied a shipment of one hundred thousand PPE masks and five thousand sets of medical protective clothing to Moldova during his lightning visit to Chisinau on Tuesday. The Minister reported on the Hungarian aid at a joint press conference with his Moldovan counterpart Oleg Ţulea, which was broadcast live on Mr. Szijjártó’s Facebook page.
“458 respirators and 25 thousand test kits arrived from China during the past few hours”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced in a video on his Facebook page on Monday evening.
“A further large quantity of protective equipment is now at the disposal of healthcare staff”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Monday. “The Airlift between China and Hungary is continuing to operate”, Mr. Szijjártó highlighted.
“The airlift between China and Hungary is functioning well; the goods required for healthcare protection against the coronavirus epidemic are being continuously shipped from China’s major cities”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó stated on Monday in a pre-agenda report in Parliament.
