Beginning on 7 September, Hungary has ordered a ban on leaving and visiting all social institutions that provide specialised care, based on a decree issued by the National Chief Medical Officer.
More than ten thousand teachers will receive an extra one-time bonus of five hundred thousand forints before tax, the Minister of Human Capacities announced on Wednesday in a video message posted on the Facebook account of the Ministry of Human Capacities in the latest edition of the series entitled ‘Real Life’.
“Over the past 1100 years, Hungarians have experienced much more serious crises than the current one, but emerged victorious from every one of them”, Minister of Human Capacities Miklós Kásler emphasised at a ceremony in Budapest on Tuesday to present state awards to mark the 20 August national holiday, and awards postponed from the 15 March memorial day of the 1848 revolution.
According to a Eurostat survey, in ten years Hungary has moved seven places up in international rankings concerning the number of years spent in health, the Parliamentary State Secretary at the Ministry of Human Capacities told the Hungarian news agency MTI on Thursday.
“Over 2.2 billion forints (EUR 6.4 million) in additional funding will be available in next year’s budget for the employment of people with disabilities”, the Ministry of Human Capacities’ State Secretary for Social Affairs Attila Fülöp said in the Vas County town of Ivánc on Wednesday.
The coronavirus has developed favourably in Hungary so far, and accordingly there is currently no justification for replacing traditional teaching with digital education. However, the number of infections is increasing significantly in many countries, and Hungarian data also calls for prudence. For this reason, the Operational Group and the epidemiological authority is continuously monitoring the situation and may decide on further measures if necessary.
The number of couples requesting baby expecting support is now above one hundred thousand, meaning that the government has provided help for minimum two hundred thousand young people, the Minister of State for Family and Youth Affairs at the Ministry of Human Capacities announced at a press conference held on Wednesday in Budapest.
Persons eligible for infant care allowance, maternity allowance and child care allowance as well as persons under the age of twenty can take part in free advanced driving technique training, the Minister of State for Family and Youth Affairs at the Ministry of Human Capacities announced on Tuesday at the Groupama test course in Mogyoród.
According to Eurostat data, in ten years, during the period between 2010-2019, the number of those who can afford to go on holiday increased by almost 2.5 million compared with periods before 2010, the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Human Capacities said at a press conference held in Budapest on Wednesday.
