“The cohesion of the Hungarian nation is also apparent within the fields of uniform education and summer camps”, Deputy Minister of Human Capacities and the Ministry’s Parliamentary State Secretary Bence Rétvári said on Friday at a reception in the Parliament Building for Hungarian students and schoolchildren from Subcarpathia who are studying Hungarian within the framework of the Erzsébet Camp programme.
“The organisation of summer camps for children from Subcarpathia is a reinforcement of the fact that all Hungarians can count on each other no matter where in the world they live”, Mr. Rétvári said in representation of the Government.
The Deputy Minister said it was important for every Hungarian to visit Budapest’s Parliament Building, which shows us the level of performance Hungary was capable of in the Age of Dualism, at least once in their life.
Mr. Rétvári pointed out that Hungary was hosting a total of 100 thousand children in summer camps within the framework of the Erzsébet Camp programme, 26 thousand of whom will be able to visit Lake Balaton, with a total of six groups of children arriving from Subcarpathia.
