In the early evening of Tuesday, Austrian Interior Minister Karl Nehammer and Hungarian Interior Minister Sándor Pintér conducted a telephone conversation about the measures implemented and planned to be implemented by the two countries in the interest of containing the spread of the novel coronavirus, the Ministry of Interior informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

According to the communication, the politicians mutually informed one another about the methods of checking persons arriving in their countries from Italy. They reassured one another that they accept the measures adopted by their countries “with mutual understanding and trust” and agreed to update one another on an ongoing basis, the Ministry of Interior stated in its communication.
