Following an assessment of the terrorist attacks committed in Brussels on Tuesday morning, Minister of Interior Sándor Pintér has announced the introduction of a Level II terror alert.
The Minister has instructed the Counter Terrorism Centre (TEK) to increase its level of preparedness, and the Police to increase surveillance at Hungary’s international airports and at metro stations in Budapest, the Hungarian capital.
