Minister of Justice László Trócsányi met Arnaud Richard Member of the French National Assembly 30 June 2014. The French politician to learn more about the Hungarian economic crisis management and result achieved by the Hungarian Government.

During their meeting Minister Trócsányi presented the tasks of the Ministry and highlighted how legislation can answer the challenges posed by the economic crisis. The parties also discussed the problem of foreign currency loans, with Mr Trócsányi emphasising that the Government’s goal is to help the nearly half million debtors affected by unfair lending. According to the Minister the system of sectoral taxes, utility cost cuts and public work program demonstrate that the Hungarian Government has a clear vision of how to fix social problems.

Finally the Minister gave an overview on the codification of the new penal and civil codes, both aiming to avoid delays in procedures and rationalise the system of enforcement.
