The German population’s subjective perception of security has significantly deteriorated compared with the level of perception observed in years before, the Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister said on Friday evening on the public service television news channel M1.
György Bakondi added that the fear spreading in Germany has now reached the level of politics which is clearly underlined by the outcome of the latest state elections held in Saxony and Brandenburg, he added.
The chief advisor also highlighted that in the EU the tension between pro-immigration and anti-immigration countries has not diminished, adding that the Hungarian government is looking forward to the establishment of the new European Commission.
