According to the Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, if there was no fence on the border and people with unknown identities and intentions were able to enter the country unrestricted, they could stay here as the time when they could move on towards the West unhindered has come to an end: the Austrian, German and French borders have been closed down.
On Thursday on the public service television news channel M1 György Bakondi was asked about the fact that, according to Government Spokesperson Zoltán Kovács, Soros organisations are preparing for yet another attack. They are seeking to blackmail Hungary with another report in order to induce it to resettle migrants in its territory.
He said it is evident that they have continually attacked the government’s policy ever since 2015, primarily on the issue of migration, but also on security issues and the measures it has taken with a view to the enhanced transparency of non-governmental organisations.
He added that “threats” under the disguise of criteria of the rule of law and concerning the withdrawal of EU funds are nothing new, and the underlying objective is quite clear: they seek to reinforce pro-immigration forces and to weaken the government which stands in the way of the European Union’s immigration plans.
