Minister without Portfolio responsible of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant expansion János Süli took his oath at Tuesday’s session of the National Assembly.

Following the pre-agenda speeches, new Minister without Portfolio responsible for the planning, constructing and putting into commission of the two news blocks of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant, János Süli, took his ministerial oath before Parliament.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced on 10 April that he would be appointing a Minister without Portfolio to supervise and manage the Paks expansion project. Two weeks later, President of the Republic János Áder appointed Mayor of Paks and former CEO of MVM Paks Nuclear Power Plant Cls. János Suli to the post.

The new Minister was congratulated by Viktor Orbán, the members of the cabinet and the leaders of the various parliamentary groups.
