According to the Prime Minister’s Chief Security Advisor, György Bakondi, the infringement proceedings launched against Hungary all concern issues that can be linked to George Soros.

Speaking on Hungarian M1 television’s Sunday evening current affairs program, the Chief Security Advisor explained: all three proceedings, on the fact that Hungary does not wish to accept migrants, on the regulations concerning the transparency of non-governmental organisations, and on the legislation affecting the CEU, are about “Soros-related topics”.

With relation to Thursday’s hearing by the European Parliament(EP) Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE), Mr. Bakondi said it was a “provocative and unusual” situation that, according to leaked documents, at the hearing the representatives of organisations financed by George Soros were heard by MEP’s who have “friendly relations” with George Soros.

According to the Chief Security Advisor, because of the Hungarian Government’s consistent migration policy, which is at odds with the “Soros Plan”, they are attempting to place all kinds of political and legal pressure on Hungary via the European Parliament, NGOs and the media.
