The Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister believes migration is the issue that concerns the people of Europe the most, and accordingly Europe will be making an important decision at the European Parliament (EP) elections.

Speaking on Hungarian M1 television’s Friday morning current affairs program, György Bakondi said the pro-immigration forces want to legalise migration using migrant visas and anonymous debit cards, and through opening permanent channels for migration.

“At the 26 May elections, European citizens will decide on whether they want to continue or do away with this ‘mistaken’ migration policy. The wrong decision could lead to irreversible changes in the future of Europe”, he highlighted.

“In Eastern Europe the question is whether countries can be protected, but in Western Europe it is how to live with migration, in view of the fact that the population there is 10-20 percent Muslim”, he added.

“Europe’s security is also being endangered by Western European citizens who want to return to Europe after serving as foreign fighters in territories occupied by the Islamic State terrorist organisation. Kosovo and Bosnia have already opened their borders to them, but other countries have not come to a decision as yet”, he explained.

Speaking on Kossuth Radio’s “Good Morning, Hungary!” show, Mr. Bakondi said European citizens like Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s politics, and envisage the future along those lines.

The Chief Security Advisor also spoke about the fact that migration is continuing, and the number of immigrants arriving in Greece, Macedonia and Bosnia have all increased.
