As opposed to media reports, the government expects to have 15-20 thousand more public workers this year than last year, due to the fact that in 2015, an extra HUF 40 billion will be available for this purpose in addition to last year’s increased HUF 230 billion – Government Spokesperson Zoltán Kovács said.
The aim of the government is to establish a sensible form of public employment that is sustainable in the long run and is in accordance with the restructuring of the social and support system and with the objective of full employment – he emphasised.
