The Minister of State for National Financial Services and Postal Affairs Lászlóné Németh announced on Thursday in Pécs that the First National Utility Company (ENKSZ) started operating in the gas sector on 1 April.
At the press conference held for the inauguration of the customer service network for national utility services in Hungary, the Minister of State said that customers who would like to change service providers in order to reduce their utility bills can now do so at 300 locations; these are post offices and the customer service points of Főgáz Zrt., which has now become a nationwide domestic gas service provider.
ENKSZ President and CEO Péter Horváth said that the company offers fast, simple processing of customer applications, and he hopes that Főgáz will become the gas service provider to more than half of all consumers in Hungary.
