The Government welcomes that the European Parliament’s education and culture committee found Tibor Navracsics suitable for the role of member of the European Commission.
The hearing conducted last week in Brussels clearly demonstrated that his experience and commitment to European values make him fully suitable for the task in hand. The designation of Tibor Navracsics’s future portfolio as a commissioner falls within Jean-Claude Juncker’s competence.
