The Hungarian Development Bank has started the registration of the First National Utilities Company (ENKSZ), which will start operating in spring – Minister of State for Financial Services of the Prime Minister’s Office announced.
Minister of State Lászlóné Németh emphasised that the company will be responsible for the unified operation of state public utility services (gas, electricity and district heating) and it will coordinate the public infrastructure in order to provide efficient and cheap services to citizens.
The National Utilities Company will operate on a non-profit basis, which according to the Minister of State means that there are no set profit expectations towards the company, the objective of it is to represent the interest of the citizens and to establish security of supply.
