Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Croatian head of government Andrej Plenković met in Helsinki to discuss Hungarian-Croatian bilateral relations and the challenges facing Europe, head of the Prime Minister’s Press Office Bertalan Havasi informed Hungarian news agency MTI.
At the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the European People’s Party (EPP) congress, the parties reviewed current issues relating to Hungarian-Croatian economic and political relations, after which they also held negotiations on preparations for next May’s European Parliament elections.
“Success requires the closest possible cooperation within the European People’s Party”, it was stated at the meeting.
