On Monday morning, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán attended an international video conference organised in connection with the spread of the coronavirus which was initiated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.
The video conference call was joined by Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades and Romanian Prime Minister Ludovic Orban.
At the conference which lasted an hour, the leaders assessed the situation related to the coronavirus epidemic, and also agreed on coordinating national measures, the press chief said.
