French President Emmanuel Macron wrote about bilateral cooperation and cooperation within the European Union in his letter to Viktor Orbán congratulating him on his victory at the Hungarian parliamentary elections, the Prime Minister’s press Chief, Bertalan Havasi informed Hungarian news agency MTI on Tuesday.
In his letter dated 12 April, the French President assured the Hungarian Prime Minister that he wishes to continue their constructive working relationship in the interests of tightening links between France and Hungary in all areas.
In his letter, President Macron pointed out that next year Hungary will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of its accession to the European Union, and he is happy to work together with Viktor Orbán, including with the involvement of the countries of the Visegrád Group, in the interest of furthering European construction and the preservation of European values.
