Upon arriving in Brussels, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán described the coronavirus epidemic, the fight against it and related European coordination efforts as the most important topics of the EU summit beginning on Thursday afternoon.

In a video message posted on his Facebook account, the Prime Minister said at the meeting lasting until Friday evening, EU heads of state and government will discuss how they could help one another and create a European coordination mechanism for the fight against the epidemic.

It is to be hoped according to Mr Orbán that they will receive some good news about the release of a vaccine and the order in which it will be made available, including Hungary’s opportunities.
