French President Francois Hollande thanked Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for his participation at the Paris memorial march on 11 January and for standing with the French people after the terror attacks.

The French President pointed out that the cruel attack was committed against the authority of the state and against democracy, and said that his country will never surrender to obscurantism, France will further on propagate freedom, tolerance, justice and peace, both in national and international context.
