Prime Minister Viktor Orbán expressed words of appreciation to Ronald S. Lauder, President of the World Jewish Congress (WJC) for his efforts made with a view to helping Jewish communities in Hungary.
The Prime Minister had talks with the President of the Jewish organisation as part a breakfast meeting in New York on Wednesday, Bertalan Havasi, chief of the Prime Minister’s Press Office informed kormany.hu.
Mr Orbán further told Mr Lauder at the meeting: he sincerely hopes that the Jewish community in Hungary, too, supports the economic and foreign policy which the Hungarian Government is pursuing in the interest of the development of Hungary.
