Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister told kormany.hu that following their meeting in Paris in April, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Secretary-General of the OECD Ángel Gurría held talks in Budapest on Friday.

Mr. Havasi said that both parties considered the cooperation between Hungary and the international economic organisation successful and fruitful.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán reiterated that it is also for the work of the OECD that Hungarian reforms are working. Mr. Gurría praised Hungary’s achievements and continues to regard it as important for Hungary to share its experiences with other states, Mr. Havasi said.
