On 22 January a joint cabinet meeting of the Hungarian and Slovenian governments will be held in Slovenia. The event will be chaired by Prime Ministers Viktor Orbán and Miro Cerar.

According to Slovenian news agency STA, the Slovenian government announced that current plans are for four agreements to be signed, and a joint position of the two governments will be adopted at the meeting to be held at Brdo Castle, near Kranj.

The prime ministers will also give speeches at a business forum jointly organised by the Slovenian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Slovenian entrepreneurship and foreign investment promotion agency.
The decision to hold the joint cabinet meeting was made in November when the prime ministers met in Lendava.
