Hungary supports the activation of the NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP) for Bosnia-Hercegovina, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated during his meeting with Bosnian Prime Minister Denis Zvizdić in Budapest on Tuesday.
Head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister Bertalan Havasi told Hungarian news agency MTI: At the meeting, at which Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó was also present, it was determined that bilateral trade flow between the two countries increased by 16 percent during the first eight months of this year.
Prime Minister Orbán confirmed: Hungary will be maintaining its undertaking, within the framework of which 208 Hungarian military personnel are currently serving in Bosnia.
Road and rail development projects that could improve link between Budapest and Sarajevo were also discussed, the Prime Minister’s Press Chief said.
