In the Carmelite Monastery, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán conducted consultations with leading medical experts with respect to the upcoming measures related to the coronavirus situation, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Saturday morning.

The consultations held before the adoption of decisions by the government were attended by Ferenc Jakab, Professor of the University of Pécs, the head of the virology research team, Béla Merkely, Rector of Semmelweis University, Gergely Röst, epidemiology mathematician of the University of Szeged, Anikó Nagy, Director General of the Heim Pál National Paediatric Institute, Miklós Szócska, head of Semmelweis University’s Health Care Manager Training Centre, Róbert Bedros, the Prime Minister’s appointee for the South Buda Centre project of the Healthy Budapest Programme, and Antal Rogán, the Prime Minister’s cabinet chief.
