On Thursday morning, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán conducted unannounced inspections at the Szent János Hospital and its branch establishment at Kútvölgyi út; he posted a video message of his visits on his Facebook account.
According to the information of Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief, the Prime Minister consulted with hospital commanders and senior physicians working at the institutions with respect to the status of health care supplies, and the number and occupancy rate of beds, with special regard to the availability of ventilators. He also heard a report about the availability of human resources.
Wearing protective gear, the Prime Minister also spoke to patients who have already been confirmed with coronavirus infection, as well as to persons who are in hospital quarantine, but have not yet tested positive for coronavirus infection.
