Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received Nenad Lalovic, President of United World Wrestling (UWW) in the Parliament Building on Saturday morning, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed kormany.hu.
Mr Havasi stated in his communique that the attendees of the meeting reviewed the situation of the sport in Hungary and world-wide, and also discussed the report released recently by the investigation committee headed by Richard McLaren of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
The parties further discussed how national governments, sports federations and WADA could take more effective action in the interest of upholding the purity of the sport, the communique of the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister reads.
