Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister told Hungarian news agency MTI that in the Parliament Building on Tuesday afternoon Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Marius Vizer, President of the International Judo Federation (IJF) held talks about Hungary’s sports development strategy regarding judo and the importance of the education of young athletes.
The Hungarian Prime Minister received the sports executive at a working lunch where Mr. Vizer spoke about the World Judo Championships held in Budapest in August in terms of immense satisfaction, he added.
Mr. Orbán highlighted at the meeting: Budapest is an international sports city, and based on experience and the feedback received to date, Hungary may successfully bid to organise yet another world-level sports event.
