Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has discussed the situation of Hungarian road hauliers with leading representatives from the sector.
Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga also took part in the meeting.
The Chief Executive Officer of Waberer’s International Ltd. György Waberer was recently elected president of the Association of Hungarian Road Hauliers. The organisation represents three thousand road haulage companies and passenger transport service providers, employing over sixty thousand people and operating over forty thousand commercial vehicles; this accounts for half of the sector’s vehicle fleet.
The Prime Minister also attended an opening ceremony for the new company holiday resort of Waberer’s in Balatonvilágos.
