On Thursday in Parliament, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo Hashim Thaci in his office.

Mr. Thaci visited Budapest to discuss economic issues and questions related to the stability of the Western Balkan region. On Wednesday, he held talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, with whom they signed a cooperation agreement.

Mr. Thaci emphasised that Hungary and Kosovo have excellent relations, and the aim for the future is that these do not only cover political and military cooperation, but also the field of economy, with special emphasis on agriculture and water management.
