Bertalan Havasi, head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister, has told kormany.hu that, in a letter sent to British prime minister Theresa May, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán offered his condolences to the relatives of the victims of Wednesday’s terrorist attack in London.
In his letter the Prime Minister wrote that he was shocked to learn about the brutal terrorist attack in the centre of London.
“Not even this terrible event can diminish our determination to fight against terrorism and violence”, he wrote, reassuring the British prime minister that Hungary will remain a firm ally of the United Kingdom in the fight against international terrorism.
On behalf of every Hungarian the Prime Minister offered his condolences to relatives of the victims. “We shall pray for the people of Great Britain, and we feel for them in these difficult moments”, Mr. Orbán wrote in his letter to Prime Minister May.
