Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has arrived in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. At the airport, he was received by Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, Governor of the Yogyakarta Special Region, with whom he also conducted bilateral talks.
According to the information of Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief, at the meeting the parties discussed investment opportunities, in particular in the area of water management. The parties welcomed the fact that now more than a thousand Indonesian students are studying in Hungary with Hungarian state scholarships.
Mr Orbán, who arrived in Indonesia to attend the leadership meeting of the Centrist Democrat International (CDI) as one of the organisation’s vice presidents, will conduct talks with members of the party alliance already on Wednesday evening. On Thursday, following the CDI Executive Committee meeting, he will fly to Jakarta where he will have talks with President of Indonesia Joko Widodo.
