Prime Minister Viktor Orbán sent a message of congratulations to his Polish counterpart Mateusz Morawiecki on the occasion of the decisive election victory of the Law and Justice Party.
The thousand-year-old Hungarian-Polish friendship is one of our most important resources in the management of the challenges we are facing, Mr Orbán wrote, adding that it has been proved time and again that we can count on one another even in the most difficult situations.
Mr Orbán reassured the Polish Prime Minister that his government is ready to closely cooperate also in the future so that we can represent our common interests as successfully as possible, Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Monday evening.
I wish you a great deal of strength, good health and perseverance with the next four years, Mr Orbán wrote in conclusion.
