On Monday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his Sunday re-election in a letter, the Prime Minister’s Press Chief informed Hungarian news agency MTI.
According to the information provided by Bertalan Havasi, in the letter Mr. Orbán stressed that Hungary is paying particular attention to the further development of pragmatic cooperation with Russia.
“I trust that your re-election will guarantee that the development of our bilateral relations can continue in the upcoming period”, the Prime Minister wrote in the letter, in which Mr. Orbán wished Vladimir Putin much strength and good health towards his responsible duties.
