Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and President of the Hungarian Swimming Federation Sándor Wladár met on Tuesday in the Parliament Building to discuss the state and future of Hungarian swimming, the Prime Minister’s Press Chief told Hungarian news agency MTI.

“All Children Should Learn to Swim” is the motto of the joint effort on the part of the Government and the Swimming Federation, and the main topic of Tuesday’s meeting also concerned how the required conditions could be assured, Bertalan Havasi said.

The parties reviewed Hungarian preparations for the upcoming major international swimming events, and also discussed the training of swimming coaches and the sports healthcare situation in Hungary, he added.
