Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will be travelling to Brussels and then to Rome, where he will be holding talks with the leaders of the EU’s prime institutions and with the Italian Prime Minister on the challenges facing Europe and current European political issues.
In a statement to the press, head of the Prime Minister’s Press Office, Deputy State Secretary Bertalan Havasi said that in the afternoon the Prime Minister will be holding talks with President of the European Council Charles Michel, and with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
In the afternoon, Italian head of government Giuseppe Conte will be receiving Mr. Orbán in Rome, who will be in the Italian capital until Tuesday, during which time he will also be meeting with Italian right-wing party chairman and leader of Forza Italia Silvio Berlusconi, head of the Liga party Matteo Salvini, and with head of the Brothers of Italy party Giorgia Meloni. The Prime Minister will also be making a speech at the National Conservatism conference organised for distinguished thinkers, intellectuals and politicians, Mr. Havasi said.
