“We are engaged in battle, but we are doing well”, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán told journalists – arriving at the summit of the European People’s Party in Brussels – in answer to a question related to migration and border protection.
Several journalists asked Mr Orbán about the possible expulsion of Fidesz from the European People’s Party. The Prime Minister said in reply: “We are the People’s Party”.
Regarding Brexit talks, Mr Orbán said the situation is complex, but they will do everything they can to reach a fair agreement.
The Prime Minister highlighted that they are focusing on the interests of the Hungarian people.
We need a Brexit which is good for Hungarians working in the United Kingdom, Mr Orbán added.
