In the city of Pécs on Friday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that although Pécs is not doing well financially, it can rely on the Government. He was speaking before the beginning of a jubilee university programme being held in the city’s Kodály Centre.
“The city is not doing well financially, and this must be taken care of; there is expertise on how this should be done. Those who caused the problem will also have to resolve it”, the Prime Minister said. At the same time he stressed that the people can rely on the Government, and “we shall stand by the people of Pécs”.
“I’m asking you to support us”, Mr Orbán said in conclusion.
