With the inauguration of the Wessling Knowledge Centre a hub has been created that will house a leading regional R&D base of an international engineering innovation network of 1000 researchers, Minister of State for Economic Development and Regulation István Lepsényi said at the opening ceremony. Having climbed nine places on the World Economic Forum (WEF) global competitiveness ranking, Hungary is now the 60th on the list, Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga announced on Wednesday.
