Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó received Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Timur Suleimenov in his office on Thursday, with whom he discussed economic issues.
“Hungarian-Russian relations have broken out of the recession caused by the international sanctions against Russia”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó declared on Thursday in Budapest at a press conference following the 11th session of the Hungarian-Russian Inter-Governmental Committee for Economic Cooperation.
“Indian-owned Flex Films will be establishing a flexible packaging materials production plant in Rétság; the value of the investment is 23 billion forints (EUR 71.5 million), towards which the Government is contributing 2.8 billion forints (EUR 8.7 million) in funding”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced at a press conference in Budapest on Wednesday.
“The Soros university is continuing to generate hysteria, because it has an interest in doing so”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said in a statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Wednesday.
“Everyone wants a strong and successful Europe, but has differing views on how this can be achieved”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said at a conference entitled “The Day of Hungarian Diplomacy”, organised by the National University of Public Service’s Faculty of International and European Studies in Budapest.

“Former Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski had to cross three borders to get to Hungary, and in all three cases he did so in full accordance with regulations”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said at a press conference in Budapest on Wednesday.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó agrees with his Slovenian counterpart Miro Cerar that the protection of Europe’s external borders must be given priority, Europe must protect its external borders, he said in a telephone statement to Hungarian news agency MTI following his meetings in Ljubljana on Tuesday.
“Austrian-owned vehicle research company AVL Hungary Limited will be constructing a research & development centre in Érd; the value of the investment is 12.5 billion forints (EUR 39 million), towards which the Government is contributing 3 billion forints (EUR 9.3 million) in non-returnable funding”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced at a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.
