Declaration signed on Debrecen pilot training center

Four partners signed a declaration of intent on setting up a pilot training center in Debrecen, at a ceremony held on Friday. The document was signed by senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the University of Debrecen, Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air and Debrecen-based Pharma-Flight scientific and service center in Budapest.

India's Apollo Tyres is to build a HUF 146 billion plant in Gyöngyöshalász, Hungary, creating 975 new jobs. State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said the investment is a key element in the Hungarian Government’s reindustrialization plan. The plant is expected to produce 16,000 car tyres and 3,000 tyres for light commercial vehicles a day.

Hungary’s Eximbank and the European Investment Bank agreed upon a credit line of EUR 200 million

A further loan of EUR 200 million is available for expanding Hungarian exports. The successful cooperation between Eximbank and the European Investment Bank (EIB) enables Hungarian SMEs to play a pivotal role in Hungarian exports, said Péter Szijjártó, State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade today in Budapest. According to the agreement, EIB will provide funds to Eximbank on favorable terms to offer a competitive financing option for Hungarian SMEs.
