After a meeting with the prime ministers of the Visegrád Four in Brussels on Thursday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán gave a statement about people’s personal Facebook data being used without their consent. He described such use of Facebook’s database for commercial – and particularly for political campaign – purposes as unacceptable.
After a meeting of the leadership of the European People’s Party in Brussels on Thursday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that “Europe is full”.
“At least two thousand people from the Soros network are working against the Hungarian Prime Minister and against Hungary; they want to interfere in the Hungarian elections and want Hungary to have a pro-immigration government”, the Government Spokesperson said.
“The terrorists attacks that have been committed in Europe in recent years have made it clear that immigration means terrorism and endangers people’s lives”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said at a press conference in Budapest on Thursday.
Viktor Orbán has said that he sees immigration as the most important subject to be discussed at the European Union summit starting on Thursday. In a video uploaded on his Facebook page prior to the summit, the Prime Minister said that Hungary’s interests will be asserted, and that Hungary will not allow its border fence to be dismantled or migrants to be admitted to the country.
