Minister of Human Capacities Zoltán Balog has proposed a meeting with Ukraine’s Minister for Education and Science Liliia Hrynevych.
“The OMÉK is the joint celebration of farmers and city-dwellers, and Hungary’s largest agricultural economy event, at which more exhibitors are showcasing their wares and economic achievements this year”, Minister of Agriculture Sándor Fazekas said at the official opening ceremony of the National Agriculture and Food Exhibition and Fair (OMÉK).
The countries of the Visegrád Group (V4), supported by Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and Slovenia, believe European Union regulations must be developed in the interests of eliminating the dual quality of foods.

Government Spokesperson Zoltán Kovács published an article entitled “The Financial Times and the Soros plan deniers: these people just aren’t being straight with us” in his blog in reaction to op-eds published in the Financial Times and an American conservative news portal questioning the existence of the Soros Plan.

At a joint press conference with his Polish counterpart Beata Szydło in Warsaw on Friday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that “We accept the decision of immigrant countries to become immigrant countries. We ask them to accept that we do not want to become one”.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is asking everyone to participate in the National Consultation on the “Soros Plan”, because in his view, by doing so they can help Hungary protect itself from immigration.
The Government is likely to initiate a further 0.5 percentage point reduction of payroll taxes as of January next year, and thus corporate taxes will be 2.5 percentage points lower in 2018, Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga said after the first autumn session of the National Competitiveness Council. The panel, comprised by representatives of the private sector and economic and scientific organizations, evaluated the economic impact of the six-year wage deal concluded in last November.
On Thursday evening, Government Spokesperson Zoltán Kovács told Hungarian television channel M1 that the incoming answers in the most recent National Consultation provide the Government with much energy and the adequate means, which can be used in international forums as well.
