The case of the construction of the atomic power station is about to enter a new phase. The Prime Minister requested János Süli, Mayor of Paks to coordinate the prospective commissioning of the facility and the development of the region, János Lázár said on Thursday in Paks after he attended the meeting of the Paks Social Council comprised of the mayors of the region’s forty-one localities.

Saint Ladislaus was the first monarch who was able to address all the peoples of Central-Europe, Árpád János Potápi said when he opened the exhibition introducing the life, cult and spiritual heritage of Saint Ladislaus at the Zagreb Hungarian Cultural Institute on Thursday, in the presence of Hungarian President of the Republic János Áder and Croatian head of state Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.
Nothing can substitute for or replace the nation states, including Hungary, „nothing but our native land can give us a home”, Defence Minister István Simicskó said at the oath-taking ceremony held in Szentendre after the completion of the basic training of the contingent of soldiers contracted for a fixed term.

The performance of the construction industry increased by 15.2 per cent in February. The number of new orders, too, was on the increase, and the sector may therefore expect a long-term phase of growth, Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga said.
