György Bakondi, Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, has told Hungarian public television channel M1 that the Government’s stance is that, instead of administrating asylum requests, the priority task of the EU border and coast guards should be border protection.
“IT Services Hungary Limited (ITSH) will be creating 360 news jobs at its premises in Szeged, Debrecen and Pécs with an investment of 4.6 billion forints (EUR 15M)”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced at a press conference.
As Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga said at a recent press conference, the Ministry is to widen the group of organizations and partners which will be invited to negotiations on the planned payroll tax cuts.
“Since Tunisia has the most stable political system in the region, it is the fundamental interests of the EU and Hungary for Tunisia’s political and economic stability to be maintained”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in Budapest following a meeting with his Tunisian counterpart.
Up to the end of September 2016, 21 414 building permits have been issued, which constitutes a two-and-a-half-fold increase compared to the same period of the previous year. The rising number of building permits is being translated into stronger construction data regarding residential properties. In the initial nine months of the year, 5307 residential property units were completed in Hungary, up by 14 percent year-on-year. This growth is the indisputable consequence of the Government’s housing programme.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó regards it as a huge success that Hungary has been chosen from among the group of Eastern and Central European countries to be awarded membership of the UN Human Rights Council.
Speaking in Jáger Park in Herend on Thursday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that Hungary needs committed people and businesses supported by a well-functioning economy and the Government.
If we want to further improve economic competitiveness it is essential to increase wages, retain skilled labour and boost efficiency, Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga said at the ceremony for presenting the Awards for Successful Enterprises.
On Kossuth Radio’s “180 Minutes” programme, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that “The Seventh Amendment to the Fundamental Law of Hungary is an issue of national interest and cannot be linked to any party political debate or economic issue”.
