On Wednesday evening György Bakondi, Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister told public television channel M1 that more migrants in the Kiskunhalas reception centre have threatened to jump out of the building if authorities do not open the camp.
Border controls have been consolidated, and the occupancy rate of reception centres has significantly decreased thanks to the statutory changes introduced at the beginning of July, the chief advisor for the Prime Minister György Bakondi said.
Five Algerian and two Moroccan men escaped from the Kiskunhalas guarded reception centre on Tuesday evening. Three of them were apprehended, and the authorities already know the whereabouts of another two, György Bakondi said.

“None of the 130 migrants who arrived at the Horgos border crossing station on Sunday have submitted a request for asylum”, the Prime Minister’s Chief Advisor on Homeland Security said on Hungarian M1 television’s Monday morning current affairs programme.
