On Thursday, as part of a video conference, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Minister for Innovation and Technology László Palkovics informed themselves about the work of the coronavirus research teams supported by the Ministry for Innovation and Technology. At the video conference, the Prime Minister spoke about the need for the development of Hungarian pharmaceutical production and warehousing.

As the opposition did not vote for the bill on the extension of the state of danger, a stalemate situation developed; “some of our important decisions ceased to have effect, and the boat of our containment effort sprang a leak”. Today, we have managed to patch up that leak, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Tuesday evening, before his meeting with the leaders of the coronavirus task forces.
HUF 225 billion spent so far on containment effort
