The National Food Chain Office (NÉBIH) has released its new, free, publication “Adopt me” (Fogadj örökbe!) that is meant to provide comprehensive assistance on the adoption of dogs to future owners thinking responsibly. The booklet is freely downloadable from the “Szabad a gazdi” campaign website, and animal shelters and dog pounds may also request it in printed format.

Agriculture contributed the trade surplus in 2018

Agriculture Ministry supports petition for maintaining EU agricultural funding

The Ministry of Agriculture wholeheartedly supports the petition launched by the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) and the Hungarian Association of Farmers’ Cooperatives (Magosz) for maintaining the level of agricultural subsidies provided by the European Union. A national roadshow will be initiated to promote that cause, Agriculture Minister István Nagy announced at a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.

Campaign promoting Hungary’s caves
