Hungary’s Institute for Transport Sciences (KTI) and the Korea Transport Institute (KOTI) concluded a cooperation agreement relating to the automotive industry and the field of electromobility on Monday in Budapest.
The Hungarian government has decided on providing further humanitarian aid for Christian churches in Syria. The aid will concentrate on alleviating the crisis situation that has emerged due to armed conflicts and on reconstruction efforts. The purpose of the aid is to help local communities in need to remain in their native land, thereby reducing migration to Europe as the Hungarian government fundamentally believes that help must be taken where there is trouble, rather than bringing problems to Europe.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó met with General Father of the Lebanese Maronite Order Nematollah Hashem on 27 May in Budapest, whom he told that the Hungarian governing party has achieved an epochal success at the European Parliament elections, which “is a confirmation of politics that are based on Christian foundations”.

In an address to the Hungarian parliament before the start of daily business on Monday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that in Sunday’s election to the European Parliament (EP) the Hungarian people had clearly stated that they want to see changes in Brussels.
“There is a new political situation on the continent; the status quo has been disrupted following the European Parliament (EP) elections”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in the recess of a meeting of EU ministers discussing international trade issues in Brussels on Monday.
“The Government trusts that those opposed to immigration will achieve a majority at the European Parliament (EP) elections, because as a result the security of the European people would come to the fore instead of the quota system”, Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister György Bakondi said on Hungarian M1 television’s Saturday evening current affairs program.
“Hungary is committed to supporting the termination of the unacceptable and outrageous practice of impunity that characterises sexual offences committed against girls and women during the course of military conflicts worldwide”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said on Friday in Oslo at a conference on the issue.
Those who believe that the future of Hungary and Europe is important will have to go and vote on Sunday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated in an interview published in the newspaper Magyar Nemzet and the provincial newspapers of the Mediaworks Group on Saturday. The Prime Minister said “Pro-immigration supporters will all be there, so we should be there, too”.
“The situation surrounding Slovakia’s so-called Anthem Act has been resolved today”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a statement to Hungarian new agency MTI.
